Nel mettere a fuoco l'obiettivo di EUGAD, ci siamo resi conto della
necessità di sviluppare una linea di ricerca parallela, che riguardasse la
musica ed il ruolo che questa può avere nel progetto. Ci siamo resi conto
della necessità di cercare un supporto artistico, poetico e creativo
all'azione politica. La musica è necessaria anche perchè sarà presente nei
documentari, ma anche perchè è portatrice di valori universali condivisi dalla
maggior parte delle popolazioni e per questo può essere la chiave che apre le
porte delle culture. Attraverso questa ricerca cercheremo e metteremo in
evidenza i valori che accomunano. Abbiamo anche pensato di aprire un dibattito
sulla seguente domanda: Si può creare con la musica spirito di identità,
unione, suscitare sentimenti positivi e motivanti nell'azione politica del
MDGs?

La forma che la musica e i ritmi danno alle culture.
MODELLI ISPIRATORI: Cercare
esempi musicali del passato e del presente che ci possono dare indicazioni,
che ci possano mostrare come le emozioni incanalate dalla musica
contribuiscono ad innalzare la consapevolezza delle persone, a raccoglierne ed
unirne la percezione e l’identità di sentimenti fortemente positivi e creativi.
Es: Woodstook, la storia di Mirza Ghalib, la musica pop degli anni 70, Il Jazz
afroamericano, i ritmi e le musiche tribali, gli inni.
C'è anche una storia a proposito che può farci capire lo spirito della nostra
ricerca: Il poeta indiano di due
secoli fa Mirza Ghalib era solito leggere le sue poesie alla corte del
Maharaja che lo ospitava, ma purtroppo nessuno le capiva nonostante fossero
sublimi. Un giorno però una persona si accorse che le poesie erano grandiose,
questa persona era la ballerina di corte, che le capì e si innamorò del poeta.
Ella appena si accorse della grandiosità di questi, volle rappresentarne le
poesie con la danza(katakali). Si sforzò fino a riuscire a danzare sulle
poesie del poeta mentre lui le recitava. Allora tutti si accorsero della
bellezza insita delle poesie e anche l'autore stesso se ne accorse, disse
infatti alla danzatrice che ella gli aveva sollevato il velo, e anche lui
poteva capire meglio le sue stesse poesie. La magia era stata compiuta, e
rivelava lo spirito intimo del poeta, rivelazione che era stata attuata
attraverso la danza per mezzo dell'amore che le poesie avevano suscitato nella
danzatrice.( notare che la ballerina aveva figurativamente alzato il velo dal
viso del poeta, cosa che normalmente viene fatta dagli uomini alle donne,
quando scoprono il velo del viso perchè vogliono conoscerle intimamente.)
Quì si possono elencare punti da sviluppare e suggerimenti:
La presenza della musica e di musicisti nelle corti imperiali o reali.Perchè?
Come si è consolidata l’ usanza dell’inno come sistema di identità?
Ci sono usanze tra alcune popolazioni come per esempio I Dogon in Africa, o
altri popoli, in cui l’utilizzo del ritmo, e di canti abbinati a maschere che
rappresentano alcune energie fondamentali della natura hanno dato significato
e forma alle loro culture. Si può capirne il meccanismo? Si possono fare delle
comparazioni? è possibile confrontare fenomeni di culture meno complesse con
quelle più articolate?
La musica viene usata per caricarsi di aggressività e andare in Guerra o per
fare piangere di commozione nei films, o comunque per governare I sentimenti.
Si può studiare il modo in cui i sentimenti e le emozioni vengono influenzate
dalla musica? E se è stato già fatto, dove trovare i dati?
La musica sottindende molte cerimonie di diversi momenti della vita. Perchè?
the intent
This is a beginning scene of a documentary where we want to show, our search for the main characteristics of music:
there are sounds every where, but we need to focus the right one, the one that can open the doars of perception. Sound and music could appear just already listen... but there is always some new part of it coming out.
We want to write down the sinphony of the wole project.
We want to launch a challenge: average people, musicians, politics,
philosofers, has to give us an answer to the fundamental;questions: Can
Politics choices have the poetics of human nature in itself?
== Introduce characters. : Mario is a musicians who thinks that music is a great medium of communications, gratifications, and he believe that diversity is very important, trough diversity cultural wealth is coming.
He believes that The MDGs cannot be achieved until they are mere policy declaration on text. We need the song, we need the dance! When we will have the music score of the MDGs and we will turn the objectives into a hymn that can be sung by all peoples as their song, then we will have the dance plan! So, let's search for the right harmonies ...
In this scene we are trying to undertand with the eyes of a musician what is
the relationship between possessing a strong cultural identity and the
capacity to understand and share the values of others. To see if cultures
should dialogue more (for better interaction) or less (for not loosing their
specific identities). We relate these issues in our mind to the purpose of
trying to find musicians that can use the power of music to give positive
meaning and motivate the people involved in the MDG's as well as all the stake
holders in this project.
In ancient time to govern was an art where politics unified with philosphy, ethics and easthetics where they alle harmonized into a poetic. A petic of love, where your craft was your your inner desire to create and give back to society. This is most beautifully expressed in the Hindi language where 'to work' and 'pleasure or make love' are the same word 'kama'.
We will search for Images of simple people playing their music, and how it place them in relations with the society, we will see how there are unknown great musicians who are seeking the pleasure to became in deep communications with everybody, and some time help people to have relief from the hardness of life.
We will search olso immages and interview of people working in project where use the music to resolve youth problems(There is a big work done in Venezuela where a rich business man is training thousands of orkestras formed by children and young people taken from the streets and given to them proper study in apposite music schools.
